AG Pest management has been accredited with the following certifications:
British Pest Control Association
AG Pest Management is a member of the British Pest Control Association and abides by the BPCA’s code of conduct and codes of practice. Employees are trained to the BPCA’s standards and all work is carried out in accordance with their rules and regulations.
Safe Contractor
Safe Contractor is a contractor accreditation scheme that assesses the Health & Safety competency of contractors.
Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that contractors operate in a safe way. There is therefore a need to assess contractors Health & Safety arrangements, and increasingly this is being carried out through safecontractor.
Many large organisations now use safe contractor as their primary means of selecting contractors. Safe Contractor is effectively the clients approved contractor list
Prompt – (Professional pest control register)
The objective of prompt is to provide an independent industry-recognised register of suitably qualified people who can genuinely claim to be professionals in public health pest control and related activities.
To gain this recognition, applicants must prove that they:
- Have achieved a minimum level of competence as a professional pest controller;
- Have maintained that competence through suitable continuing professional development (CPD); and
- Operate to the highest professional standards of workmanship and conduct set out in the basis prompt code of ethics
CHAS – (Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme)
To be assessed CHAS compliant contractors must demonstrate a level of compliance with health & safety law.
